The Lady Red Devils left it all on the court Tuesday night at Bishop Carroll as they battled their way to a 3-2 victory over rival Bishop Carroll.

Coming into the match, both CC and BC were tied for the #1 spot in LHAC with records of 6-1. The atmosphere was playoff like, and the stage was set for an intense matchup! The Lady Red Devils came out on fire, knocking BC down in game 1 25-13. However BC bounced back in games 2 and 3 with back to back wins of 19-25 and 23-25, after a controversial net call against CC in game 3 for the BC win.

The Lady Red Devils faced elimination if they lost game 4, but the team came together and took game 4 25-22. The ladies started game 5 off with a 7-4 run, but BC came back to make it 9-7. However, the Lady Red Devils never looked back after that point and went full steam ahead to a 15-9 victory!

The Lady Red Devils ahve put together a 4 game win streak, including wins over Bishop McCort, Bishop Guilfoyle, Forest Hills, and Bishop Carroll.

Jenna Bauer had 17 kills, 22 digs, and 10 service points.

Abbie Young had 41 digs and 18 service points

Ashley Grimes had 5 blocks.

Emily Muffie had 11 kills, 22 digs, and 9 service points.

Leah Bracken recorded 51 assists
