Girls Varsity Volleyball vs. Multiple Opponents

The Lady Red Devils finished 3rd out of 26 teams at the Saint Francis Invitational. They finished 1st overall in pool play, with a perfect 10-0 record. The defeated Chestnut Ridge 25-19, 25-16; Blairsville 25-15, 25-14; Huntingdon 25-15, 25-15; Spring Valley 25-10, 25-17, and Penn Cambria 25-19, 25-22.
Advancing to the quarterfinals they faced off against AAA Hollidaysburg, in which they defeated 25-17 in a one game elimination match. The semifinals were best of 3, and they faced Bald Eagle, who was also one of the top teams at the tournaments. With the Lady Red Devils down one player due to a late injury in the Hollidaysburg match, they were unable to beat Bald Eagle and fell 19-25, 20-25 to end their day. Bald Eagle went on to win the tournament, beating Westmont for the Championship.
